Why We Built It
Most can crushers are made for 12 oz cans. In a typical household, though, the bulky stuff is plastic: milk jugs, gallon water bottles, 2-liter soda bottles. Those are what overflow the bin. We wanted one wall-mounted crusher that handled all of it, and we couldn't find one, so we built it.
